There are something's that just ain't right in this world. Now Fish don't claim to be able to fix them but thought just maybe they would be good fer a laugh today. 1. Driving down the Interstate the other day Fish saw a big semi. Across the back it said "PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN". Alright that is as it should be. On passing Fish saw it was a piggy back, and another big sign"PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN". But upon passing it had a VOLVO TRACTOR. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
2. Going North up Highway 37 one day Fish saw a little Red car with wipers on it's head lights.Just like windshield wipers but on the head lights. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
3. Fish buys Wave cigaretes, made in Japan,with American tobacco.But only 1/2 the price of American made. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
4. Fish bought a new stereo the other day a good trusted American name R.C.A. It played 5 cd's then would not play any more. In fact it even ate one.So back to town Fish got him one of those foreign ones it works like a charm. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
5. Fish just read in Readers Digest of the top 10 safest cars today not a one is a good old American made. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
6. Fish went shopping the other day and found Tide on sale 200 ounces for $13.90. Oops the 100 ounce size was$5.68x2=$11.36. Hum lets see also the 200 ounce size gave you 52 uses, the 100 ounce size gave you 32 uses x2=64 uses. Now the way Fish figured that it cost 9 cents more per use to buy the 200 ounce size. 7. This one you will have to use your imagination a little. Driving in Eastern Kentucky Fish saw a man pushing a tow truck up a hill by hand!! Now this shouldn't happen to any one. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
8. In our local paper two cars for sale by the same party. First car was $3,500.00, second car was $3,700.00 or both for$7,700.00. Gee what a deal?? SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
9. There is something crazy going on. Now Fish believes in helping people who need help and will help their selves. But herein lies the problem. A single parent today can make more money staying home and collecting section 8 housing, collecting food stamps, having medical bills paid and getting an allowance for things that food stamps don't cover. There is no incentive to work actually there is an incentive to not work. SOMETHING'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!! |
10. Where else but in America can a man get arrested,have his lawyer paid, go to prison, have the use of a multimillion dollar recreational facility ,get a free college education also get out early if he completes his courses. All the necessary medical and dental bills paid. Plus get paid for the meager jobs they do. Have a dietitian check to see that his diet is sufficient. Get the religious diet of his choice. Have a nurse on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. While our veterans sleep in card board boxes! I TELL YOU SOMETHING,S JUST AIN'T RIGHT |
