Just think what if the Pilgrims, and the Indians, had eaten fish that day instead of turkey. I would of been right in style now. To me fishing is more fun than Turkey hunting. I dont have to be quiet and I get to listen to the radio. Now on with the story. |
Just a little history about how the Pilgrims got here, and why they did not go fishing. Well as one can see their boats were to big.And according to Fish that is why they did not go fishing. |
The Indians and the Pilgrims met and shook hands. They were so glad to see each other that they decided to have a big dinner. Mostly because they were all hungry. The Pilgrims had been working hard to get ready for winter, and the Indians had been hunting and getting ready for winter also. |
"Hark hark what is that I hear" said the Pilgrim. "That is a Tom Turkey" said the Indian. "Oh is that good to eat" asked the Pilgrim. "Yesum he heap good" answered the Indian. So the turkey hunt was on. |
So with the hunt in progress a little Indian found the turkey first. Now I am here to tell you that Indian chased the turkey all over the place but could not catch him. The turkey stayed just out of reach. |
Ah "let see if I can find him" A pilgrim said."Where oh where has my little Turkey gone" .He looked and looked for the turkey but could not find him. |
"I see him" yelled a Pilgrim as he picked up his gun and begun to go after the turkey. But the Turkey was to smart for him to get a shot at. |
The Turkey just kept on keeping on and everyone was really getting hungry so they called in more men with guns. |
So the men all came with their guns and they had a Turkey shoot.Finally they got their Turkey for the Thanksgiving dinner. |
So the Indians and the Pilgrims set down and had the first Thanksgiving dinner, and just because their boats were to big to go fishing we now have Turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner. That is the First Thanksgiving Dinner as told by fish 16. |
